The southwest shore
Ideal Beach sits at 2176 South Bear Lake Boulevard, Garden City, Utah 84028. Sweetwater Parkway is mapped through the same neighborhood, roughly along the shore south of Pickleville. The drive from St. Charles is 15.6 miles and about 25 minutes. Elevation at the beach point is about 5,924 feet, a little lower than Garden City’s town center.
The lots are the same kind of work as the rest of this shore: irrigation that has to be blown out before an October freeze, weekly mowing for places that are rented, and snow on driveways whose owners are not in Utah when it storms.

Most properties here can be measured online and quoted in writing without a visit. A long shared drive or a system that does not show in a photo may need a quick look first. Either way, you get the price in writing before any work happens.
Pickleville is the hamlet just north. Rendezvous Beach is further south, near Laketown, and has its own page. The east shore is across the lake.
