A small inland city
Bloomington is a city in Bear Lake County, ZIP 83223. The mapped point we use is about 5,971 feet. The 2010 census counted 206 people, 74 households, and 120 housing units. By 2020 the population was 199. That is a town grid, not a resort strip.
The drive from St. Charles is 5.3 miles, about 8 minutes, north on US 89. Paris is the next town north. Fish Haven is the other direction, toward the water. A Bloomington lawn does not get the open-lake wind a west-shore lot gets. It does get the same short season and the same chance of an October hard freeze.
What the work looks like
Weekly mowing is the core for occupied homes. Irrigation is usually an established system on a modest lot, not a twelve-zone lakefront layout, though a rural parcel outside the grid is quoted in writing rather than forced into a tier. Fertilizer is the four-step program. Fall aeration is the useful add-on. Snow is a town driveway, not a half-mile gravel lane down to the beach.
Most Bloomington properties can be measured online and quoted in writing without a visit. A large rural parcel, or a job where the slope is hard to see, may need a quick look first. Either way, you get the price in writing before any work happens.
We do not cut standing trees, climb, or do removals. Bush trimming and storm cleanup are available. String trimming around the lawn is part of a mowing visit.
