Privacy

This is the privacy notice for the Northbound Landscape Services website, run by RNK Services, LLC. It is short because the site does very little with your information.

What we collect

If you send a quote request, we receive what you type: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the property address or list of addresses, the services you tick, your notes, and any photos you attach. That is the only information the site collects from you directly.

How it gets to us

Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service, to our business email address. Web3Forms processes the submission in order to deliver it and does not use it for anything else. If you text or call instead, that goes to our business line and nowhere else.

What we do with it

We use it to quote, schedule and carry out the work you asked about, and to contact you about it. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone who is not involved in doing that work. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Text messages

If you check the text-message box on our quote form, we use your mobile number to send messages about quotes, scheduling, appointment reminders, service updates and billing, and occasional marketing messages such as seasonal service reminders and offers. Our SMS Terms explain how often, what it costs and how to stop. If you text us without checking that box, we reply to your message and nothing more. That does not sign you up for any other texts.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers solely as necessary to operate and deliver our messaging program, such as messaging platform providers and telecommunications carriers.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Advertising measurement and cookies

The site uses the Google tag to measure whether our Google ads lead to quote requests and to call or text taps. It sets cookies to do this. It records that one of those actions happened, not what you typed into the form.

Between November and March the homepage asks the National Weather Service for the St. Charles snow forecast so it can show a snow notice. That request contains no information about you.

Your choices

Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep it for work we have done or are doing for you. Write to service@northboundlandscapeservices.com or call or text (208) 847-7771.

Changes

If the way the site works changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
