West of US 89
Lakota is a hamlet in Rich County, Utah. A reverse geocode of the mapped point comes back as North 660 West, Lakota, Rich County, Utah 84028. It sits west of the highway, north of Garden City, about 5,936 feet. From St. Charles the drive is 9.4 miles and about 14 minutes.
People mix it up with the east shore because both are “around the lake, not in Garden City.” They are different roads. Lakota is on the west side of US 89. The east shore is the far side of the water.
Forty-seven lots
The Lakota Estates site says the subdivision was established on February 11, 1972, with 47 lots, and that the plat was recorded in Rich County on February 16, 1972, in Book G2 at Page 499. The design goal stated there is lake access together with cabin privacy. We do not turn that into a claim that every lot is lakefront.
The outdoor work is the same list as the rest of the valley: weekly mowing, irrigation maintenance and blowouts, fertilizer where the turf needs it, and snow at an agreed trigger. Most of those can be measured online and quoted in writing without a visit. Some need a quick look on site first. Either way, you get the price in writing before any work happens.
