The north end of the lake
North Beach is the Idaho state park beach at the north end of Bear Lake. The published park coordinates put it on the northeast shore. From our St. Charles base the drive is 13.1 miles and about 25 minutes, out North Beach Road rather than down US 89 toward Fish Haven.
The beach itself is day use, 7am to 10pm, with more than a mile of sand and two boat ramps. Camping is not on the beach. The park phone published by Idaho Parks is (208) 945-2325, at the office on 300 North in St. Charles.
Private properties, not the park
The business plan groups North Beach with Fish Haven and St. Charles as a seasonal cluster. Owners along that road are often somewhere else when a valve sticks or a driveway fills in. Weekly mowing, irrigation maintenance, a fall blowout, and snow at an agreed trigger are the services that fit. We do not take a contract to operate the park.
Most of those properties can be measured online and quoted in writing without a visit. Some need a quick look on site first. Either way, you get the price in writing before any work happens.
Fish Haven is the west-shore town eight minutes south of the base. St. Charles is home. This corridor is the third piece, and it is a different drive.
